Should i worry?
During the night on Wednesday i began feeling extreme crippling pain in my left side lower abdomen. It was so hectic i could not walk and had to crawl up the steps i was in tears. I thought it would pass but Thursday morning my sugar levels dropped to 2.2 (i am a diabetic) and the pain was getting worse. I could not urinate or pass stool nor lie down on eier side or get up out of bed without experiencing excruciating pain. My hubby then took me to the ER they took me straight to the labour ward, im only 18+4. Luckily baby was ok but they discovered that my pain is being caused my constipation because my baby is lying low and everything including bladder and intestines have no room for regular movements. I was given a suppository and some senna laxatives but nothing for pain. They did an emergency ultrasound to confirm that babys heart wa beating and was going fine.
I am so worried i am still experiencing pains, could this pain add stress to the baby and are there any mums who experienced the same and how did you find ways to bring comfort to yourself. I can barely move or eat i was told the swelling in my bowels would have to reduce before i will feel ease to pass urine and stools. Do you guys think there is a bigger problem. Im not experiencing burning urine, no bleeding or strange discharge only crippling pain which is sore to the touch. Im a worried first time mum. 😢😧
