I'm having my 3rd baby but this time it's a girl. I previously had 2 boys with another man and I only had one baby shower cause my mom said after your first baby shower you really don't have anymore. But my fiance and I would really like a baby shower cause it's our first child together plus my first girl so would it b ok to have a baby shower?????

I have a friend that had a baby shower with her first baby. A boy. She got pregnant again with a boy and did not have a baby shower..she had a sprinkle party where friends and family just brought diapers and wipes. I had my daughter 12 years ago and her dad (my husband) and I finally wanted another baby and it's a boy so we definitely had a baby shower for him. Since it's a girl I would say have the shower.

Yes you can! I was in the same boat two boys and now a girl. I never did receive a baby shower for my girl :( I went out and bought what I needed. Enjoy and have fun with it!

My aunt has 4 kids & she had a shower for everyone even though 3 were boys! Have a shower! It's your baby.

If you're throwing your own shower, you can have as many as you want! I just wouldn't expect someone else to throw me one at this point. I would hope somebody would throw me a little sprinkle in that case 😀 BUT I still wouldn't expect it.

And I'd sooner just spend my own money on items I need for the baby rather than throw myself a shower at that point.

In my opinion, you can have as many babyshowers as you want. Not sating this is you, BUT some ppl have showers with every baby just for the gifts which isnt right. Im on 5th pregnancy & i struggled w/my decision to have 1 & ive made up my mind to go for it. If ppl feel neg about it then they dnt have to come. Do what you feel is best for you.
