I hate IV's :(

I was admitted to labor and delivery on Friday night at 36 weeks due to babys heart rate dropping a couple times during our NST. I stayed for monitoring over night and had an IV for fluids in case i had to delivery her the next day. I HATE having the IV in my wrist, its so uncomfortable. I tested + for gbs a few years ago and needed antibiotics for that during labor and probably will again. Just wish i could avoid that stupid iv. Baby was fine and i was able to go home but now just the thought of going back to delivery in a couple weeks and getting another iv makes me more nervous than actually having my baby😩
