To Toy Or Not To Toy??

I'm a first time mom of a handsome 2 month old.... Sadly, I'm returning to work soon and will be LO with my parents.... I have been struggling to identify useful and developmental toys for my baby. I don't want to continue to buy various rattling toys, bears, etc..... Any recommendations on what to get to help with his development.... What did you do to help your baby reach their milestones in a fun way??

Toys with specifically black, white and red will help develop baby's eyesight. Sure it's mindless rattling & crinkling... but at this point all u need to do is stimulate their senses anyway.

I got a board book called Look Look that I like. It has black, white and red pictures for the baby to look at. My little one enjoys it a lot (when she's in the right mood for it). She also likes the "mirror" on her play mat quite a bit.

I love Lamaze toys, they have a variety of textures and colours. Some come with clips so you can attach them to buggy or car seat!
