Pill for moods?

I have terrible mood swings and my relationships are tense when ever it's roughly 10 days before my periods. My periods aren't heavy and I rarely have cramps. I do get headaches,tiredness,insomnia and sometimes back ache. Should I go on the pill?

I think it's a possibility that you could go on the pill to help with your symptoms, but you should talk to your doctor first. Headaches, bloating and cramps are all pretty common when you're nearing your period so you may not need to go on the pill

I recommend trying other things before the pill. Diet, exercise, etc. Taking the pill for these symptoms seems extreme. If you're in a sexual relationship that also would benefit from the pill then go for it and see if it helps you feel better.

It depends what's causing the mood swings. The pills worked to make me more stable because of my hormonal imbalance, but that may not be the case. I'd say talk talk to a few professions first.

Flaxseed id supposed to help with PMT. I remember reading an article about it once. A colleague at work was feeling the same as you so I recommended it to her and it's really helped. It can take a few cycles to help though. Hope this helps xxx

Before ma period I go mental and violent. Maybe cos I'm trying to conceive so I get pissed of when I come on. But now I chill ma self down meditate. Go for a walk. Watch something funny x

Some vitamins supplements can stop mood swings.. If you go on pill it can make u angrier more. And ur periods may mess up.. X

The pill could just make those symptoms worse, it would be better to try and learn your cycles so you can anticipate those mood swings and control them consciously.
