On day 40 of cycle - bfn and no AF -?

Question

Ugh - have a 32/33 day cycle and always regular. Had a miscarriage in July, started acupuncture earlier this month. Pretty soon after first treatment, started sorting which has been on going now for 2 weeks. Took two hPts - both negative.

Since I'm only a week late, can't rule out anything.

My questions:
Anyone have spotting after acupuncture?
Can I even be hopeful of a pregnancy given the spotting?
Anyone experience this?
Advice?

I had a similar story minus the acupuncture and spotting. I was nauseous and no AF. scheduled with dr. As I had 7 bfn's!! Was getting worried something was wrong. Peed at dr. And got another bfn. But the bloodtest was positive (but low)!!! Going tomorrow to be sure hormone levels are continuing in the right direction! Baby dust for you! ?

You can still absolutely hope for a positive, even if you have been spitting a bit. If you continue to have negative HPT's, maybe call your doctor for a blood test, and then take it from there. Make sure that there isn't anything else going on.

Getting a blood test might help ease your mind. They can test if you have any HCG and how much. Best of luck ?
