Help. Discharge question

I'm on the pill- but the past few days have been kinda crazy and I haven't taken them at the same time every day. Maybe an hour off? Anyways. After I used the restroom, I wiped and there was a thick ball of discharge that was clear but had what looked like a blood spot in it. Should I be worried?? What was it??
