What's the best way to remove pubic hair?

I have been shaving been that's resulted it gross ingrown hair pimple things. And I've recently tried waxing but it hurts so much I hesitate and end up messing it up😣 any advice?

Here's some shaving tips that help me: don't wait to long to shave. The longer the hair, the harder it is to shave and for me resulted in the ingrown hairs. If it gets to long, trim first. Shaving cream didn't work for me, I always used summers eve vaginal wash to shave. After you get out of the shower look and see if you see any stray hairs and use tweezers to get them out.
