Walking into labor?

I know the baby will come when he's ready; but, just curious to know if walking personally helped any of you go into labor! Currently 38+3 and dying 😩

My OB told me walking only helps progress things if you're in active labor.

I have been walking 4-5 miles a day.  Now 3 days past due date...so no, hasn't worked for me.

The walking theory usually only works if your already in active labor.

It works. It slowly gets your body ready before labor and if your in early labor it helps it progress faster. Plus if you don't walk you have a chance of developing blood clots. I walked all day yesterday and by the end of the day my husband look at me and said "Wow babe you DROPPED!" I'm 38+4 and every time I walk a lot she drops even further.

I have done walking and jogging stairs and nothing!!!!

Walking over a mile a day has helped me dilate further but has not caused much else :/
