Pretty sure my bank teller stole my money.

I just recently got married and went on my honeymoon for a couple days. Before I went up there, I went to my parents to open up my cards and gifts. I ended up getting over $3500 just in cash. I left the money with my mom so she could deposit it into my account. My bank wasnt located where we went. So she went to the bank and they counted it and asked my mom if she knew how much was there. She said no and the teller began to count it. She used no machine and she was talking to my mom the whole time. She deposited it into my account and there was only $2500. My mom thought it was a little low so she went home and looked at what we recorded down. We are missing 10 100 bills. The bank is going to do an investigation and getting the FBI involved. But if they dont find anything, should I get my lawyer jnvolved?
