Am I out for the month or what?

Okay, I haven't had a period in a year my doctor started me on fermara he didn't give me Provera to induce a period so the day I started the femara would be considered cycle day 3. I took it at the end of last month, I started doing opks on cycle day 9. I haven't had a positive yet I'm on cycle day 21. Me and my so didn't have sex every other day like we were suppose to because work got in the way so we had sex about 3 time this cycle.. I haven't had a period yet but I took a pregnancy test yesterday which would be 11 days since we last had sex and it was negative... So am I out for the month or what?

Hmmm, that's really hard to say, because if you haven't had a period and you weren't able to confirm ovulation, there's really no way of knowing exactly where you're at in your cycle right now. Conception literally all depends on when/if you ovulated, and if intercourse was timed correctly during this time. I wouldn't get discouraged by a negative test just yet, especially since you're unsure of what DPO you're at. I would keep BDing, just in case, and keep testing every few days as well. If your partner's sperm count/motility/morphology, etc is normal, having sex every other day will increase your chances regardless, and eventually you're bound to catch that egg! I know it's discouraging, but remember... up to 90% of healthy couples actively trying WILL get pregnant within one year, so even if this isn't your cycle, don't give up!! The odds are in your favor!
