How to get a husband??

Ok I'm jumping the gun asking for a husband. I don't even have a BF. I feel like a failure. I've been dumped in ALL of my relationships for somebody else. Even wasted my time dating girls and they did the same thing. My ex fiancé dumped me to be with someone else and then afterwards, I've never kept happiness. It feels like I was conceived with love repellant. Heartbreak after heartbreak. Well all of my friends are getting married this year and I just want that type of companionship. But I feel like I'm not good enough for marriage. I'm 33 for Cheist sakes and thinking of buying a cats. I feel like I'm doing this relationship stuff all wrong. I'm with a guy now and he hasn't committed to me yet. I think I get on his nerves so I have a feeling that he never will commit to me after 2 yrs. But it feels better than being lonely. I just want to know for you people that are married, why did your husband choose you to marry. Obviously it has to be something more than love. It's always a "something". I just want to know so I can know what I'm missing. && Why I'm not giving anybody that "something" when I know for a fact that I'm a damn good woman.   And one of my past lovers just wrote me after 10 yrs about how sorry he was and how good of a woman I am. And how immature he was at the time and how I made him a better man. Yeah. I made him a better man for the girl he left me for. They are married with a newborn. Smh. My life.

I felt the same way. Until I met "the one" four years ago. We bought a house 6 months later and are getting married in September. I am 100% sure you've heard this same thing like a thousand times. But it really is true. I finally got sick of waiting around for that guy to text/call/show up etc and basically found myself. Sounds cliche but when I started to do the things I wanted to in life but had been waiting to do until I had someone to share it with, they came out of the woodwork. Case in point: I literally went hunting by myself (yes, in the woods--I live in MT) and met my fiancé. Crazy but so good for your soul to be in a place to know that you CAN be picky and don't have to settle for the flavor of the month.  Be strong!!

I was told in "the breakup speech" that I was the type of girl the guy doing the breaking up wanted to marry- but he wasn't ready to settle down just yet. In about 4 different breakups. It was heartbreaking because i wanted to be the girl a guy stuck around for. Someone who wanted a long relationship. It took me finding the right guy who wanted the same things out of life. He told me he wanted to marry me because we wanted the same things, and I made his life feel full.

I'm not going to ask my husband why he chose me, because he'll say I'm gorgeous and I have a great ass (he's got serious answers sometimes, but he's silly tonight). Honestly, I find the best partners when I'm happy with myself. Go enjoy being single for a while. Indulge your hobbies, get passionate about them. You'll find people come to you then, because they're not filling a gap in your life, they're joining you on an adventure.

I got married at 33 with my ex bf. We broke up 5 years back aafter dating for a year. Went through the same dilemma as yours but then finally things fell in place and now he is my husband. Maybe its timing. But it's definitely not you. Stop being so hard on yourself. You are a beautiful person just waiting for the most beautiful moment at the right time. Take a break from thinking about marriage for a while and boom it will come by itself to you. Cheers

My best girlfriend and I had a running joke about "The Decade of Cats." It goes like this: for every year past 30 that you're single, go ahead and get yourself a cat. If you get up to ten cats in your house, well, there's your permanent answer! 😹😹😹

Seriously, though, I spent plenty of time single or trying to make the wrong-puzzle-piece-dude fit. I eventually scrapped my life, quit my job, broke up with my was-never-crazy-about-him boyfriend of 2 yrs, moved cross-country, went back to grad school, and almost immediately met my husband when I was 34... we married a year later - when you know, you'll know. Until then though, my advice would be to NOT keep dating someone you know isn't "the one" - time is really all we have & you shouldn't waste yours (or anyone else's!). Better to be single and open to bumping into and falling head-over-heels with your soul mate tomorrow. ❤️👍

How can someone fall in love with you if you aren't in love with yourself. You said it yourself, "I am a god damn good woman". If you know you are a great person, put it out there where the world can see. Involve yourself in things you love, find a passion, and find peace in being you. The first thing you should do is work on yourself. Find something you really enjoy doing and commit to it, such as yoga, dancing, church organizations, etc. Put yourself out there doing things you enjoy and a man will notice the inner joy you carry around. He'll want to be with you because you can be happy without him. That's the key.

I'm 33 and not married and never have been. Is that bad? Heck no. Would you feel better if you had a divorce under your belt because the past relationships didn't work but married one of them? Probably not. It's not about just having a husband, it's about being found by another half who fits well with you. Sometimes it takes longer then others. I personally really enjoyed being single for years before I met my current SO, and there's been many discussions from him about me being his wife. When it happens then Great! But husband or not I love him just that same and relished in the years before being single (meaning no relationships,  and only a few casual coffee outings.) I actually before became ok with never marrying and the possibility of being on my own for the long haul. Once I accepted it could happen, I wasn't depressed about the topic although did keep hope.

#1, sometimes it just takes longer to find the right person, nothing wrong with that! #2, make sure you're doing activities that make YOU happy, and #3 if you're stumped, consider asking a close friend if there's anything you might be doing in relationships that might lead to things not working out.
