Depo opinions

So I have had trouble with bc. The pill makes me VERY sick. The last time I tried it I almost went anemic because my periods were horribly sporadic and I'd throw up all the time. I was on the patch for a long time but it got too difficult to find so I gave up on it. I have a friend who had the same trouble on the pill and she's on the shot and it works great for her. Anyone have any opinions on it and if you had the same trouble on the pill, did you have trouble on the shot too?
