Toasted sub?!?

Question

Soo know we can't eat deli meat but what if it's a toasted sub. I really want an Italian sub what if they heat the meat then toast the meat on the bread would that be ok? That should kill listeria right?

I ate a subway BMT the other day! I had it toasted, it should be fine to have one toasted as it kills all bacteria and so on. Tbh in my opinion the more stuff you stay away from in pregnancy the more stuff your baby could possibly be allergic to! Just everything in moderate amounts. It's your pregnancy, so it's up to you what you do. :) happy eating. X x x

Well I had them nuke the meat for 1 minute then toast it on the bread.... So good but I still prefer a cold sub. Italian bmt I'm going to destroy you !lol

My doctor told me to eat all I wanted cold or hot. He said its outside of the US that you have to be careful.

My dr told me and so didn't my aunt who's a nurse said you can eat anything deli meat hot or cold. As long as you don't eat Lot of it

My OB said as long as I have it toasted it's fine. I've been craving subway and eat it 3 times a week lol

I've been craving a sub for weeks now and can't bring myself to just have one. I may have to break and have a toasted one though even though I'm not a fan of toasted sandwiches.
