Its normal when I had my 2nd child my son who its about to be 5 yr old umblical cord stump fell off it look like that its normal.. as long you dont see gushing blood or any bleeding but to me that dry blood ..just let it heal..

I dnt think that blood is supposed to be there wen my sons fell it looked yellow greenish mucus almost looked like puss dr said it was fine tho

Looks like our son's did minus the puss. I was told if it stinks the that's bad, but you just need to put alcohol on it to clean i until it heals. I don't remember a visible hole inside though.
