Do you care if your children paint their nails regardless of gender

I'm curious how many people let their children paint their nails.

If my son wants to paint his nails play dress up play with dolls and wear make up guess what im ok with that and me and his daddy will gladly accept him no matter who or what he is same goes for our daughter if she wants to wear mens clothes play with action figures and get down and dirty in the mud we will be right there cheering her on

There is a boy in the preschool I work at that always has his nails painted but is a total stereotypical boy. He just likes the colors to decorate. It doesn't have to be a man/woman thing.

Idk how or why nail paint became a female thing but I find it silly. Boys are creative, boys like to play with paint, it's pretty natural for them to want to partake in putting the paint on themselves when they see girls doing it. If I was a little boy id be jealous I don't get to use the special paint that goes on your nails! It's us adults that impose wierd rules on genderless things. My nephews are allowed to paint their nails!

My 4 year old loves paint and wants to paint his nails so bad when he sees me do it. I don't allow it. However, if he steals it when I'm not around he paints his toenails I'm not in a big rush to wipe it off or anything. I just don't want to give him my permission to wear it and make him think it's okay for boys to paint their nails all the time. His dad gets mad when he does it behind our backs. But kids will be kids and they just want to play I know.

If its a boy he shouldnt be painting his nails thats not okay. Thats my opinion! My daighyer is 2 years old and she cant get her nails painted either she is too young. I dont understand why people dont let kids be kids anymore. They have plenty time to paint there nails.

You asked two different questions so I'm just going to answer like this:
We both dont care. Our son asked me to paint his nails and he loved it. He still asks me to paint his nails sometimes, says it looks really cool and we think the same way. I dont think we will let the kids (our girls AND boys) wear nail polish and too much make up at school tho that has nothing to do with their gender tho.
