Can you have sex on your period??

I would like y'alls opinions, I'm new to the whole sex thing and I want to know if it's more messy to have sex on your period? I know people have sex on their period, but is it more messy then having sex while not being in your period, which feels better or is more sanitary. Also are you more likely to get pregnant if you have sex while in your period or off your period??

I think it's kind of different for everyone. When I have sex on my period the blood stops during and for a bit after. Of course a little gets on us at first but once it gets started it literally dies off and doesn't pick back up until a couple hours later.

I have sex on my period, I use softcups so we have sex with those, and the blood doesn't go everywhere, but just in case we use a towel. We always use a condom, and plus I'm on birth control, and he pulls out. So pregnancy isn't really an option. But usually females ovulate like a week or two before their period is due, just look for the change in your discharge(white super sticky means you're ovulating). But you can get pregnant whenever you have sex, it's always a factor that you have to protect against.

Yes blood will be everywhere but that's why you put a towel down or shower sex. If you have sex on your period and he ejaculates inside of you then yes you can get pregnant bc sperm can stay alive up to 5 days and if you ovulate right after your period ends (like I do) then yes you can get pregnant. Every girl ovulates at different times.
