Doctor request to stop working?

I'm wondering if anyone's doctor requested that they stop work a couple weeks before their due date? I'm getting so uncomfortable already at only 30 weeks, but my LTD won't kick in until my doctor prescribes that I don't work. Any non-ftm have any experience in this? Any info would be appreciated!

Talk to your doctor. Don't ask on here. Just because one person's doctor did or didn't has nothing to do with your doctor and what he or she will do.

I don't think a dr won't take you off of work unless you have an issue or high risk. Most probably would be ok with you working up to the day you actually have the baby.

If nothing is is wrong besides normal aches and pains, he said there's nothing we can do before 36/37 weeks. I'm a teacher going back at 33 weeks so it's possible ill only be working for 3 weeks.
