Tingly/numb fingers

So around week 34 I started having weird numbness in my middle finger. The doctor said it was because of the fluid pushing on nerves ( I was soo swollen in both hands and feet). During delivery, while I was pushing holding my legs up I felt these sudden quick surges in my hands. It happened twice. Soon after I realized My pointer middle and ring finger are all numb. I 'm now 2 weeks 2 days pp and it hasn't gone away! Anyone else dealing with this odd situation or heard of anything similar?
