Gestational diabetes and PCOS

Anyone else out there have PCOS  and diagnosed as having gestational diabetes? I just failed my 3 hour glucose and am not sure how badly. I'm determined to be insulin resistant. I'm being scheduled for a diabetic counseling sessions, take Metformin, and have to test four times a day. I already eat a gluten and dairy free diet. Haven't gained but 15 pounds and am at 29 weeks. I try to stay active and walk as much as possible. Just a bit sad and worried about my baby boy. Anyone else on here have this issue?
