Yes, l am pregnant! Plus size pregnancy.
I can't believe how awful my pregnancy experience has been not physically or emotionally but the way I get treated by others is appalling. I'm 33 weeks on Wednesday and I have yet to start showing a bump. I parked at babiesrus to update my registry and an associate commented that the special parking are only for pregnant women and women with babies.
Insulting much.
The only women's center that takes my insurance constantly orders tests and I have to drag the whys and the reasons for ordering the tests out of the nurses and physician assistants. One nurse just replied with "it's because your fat" when I asked why they needed to test for diabetes a third time.
REALLY?
And out walking my dog today the neighbor stopped and said she offered her condolences. She had thought I had a miscarriage.
You have got to be kidding me!
Not to mention some of the looks I get when I but baby gear and ask questions. I say yes my baby is due in October. People look and ask if my girlfriend is handling the heat well or how I like having a third party gestate.
Firstly my husband is just fine with the heat and what the hell!
Everyone carries differently. My baby girl is in the 48th percentile and I even though I'm "fat" I'm fit and strong. Society can go and hang.
