My husband, "the babysitter". I'm such a control freak!
I will start by saying that my husband is an insanely amazing father But he is military and he works long hours and is sometimes away from us for weeks at a time.
We live overseas so I have no family to Help me and no close friends so at the end of the day it's just me caring for our son, which is fine but..
When my husband is with him I CAN NOT stop critiquing and critisizing every littey thing he does. "Don't let him cry like that, don't shake him too hard when you play, put socks on him, he's hungry..THATS HIS HUNGRY CRY!!! You get the picture..
My husband lashed out at me and said I treat him like a baby sitter and I'm always looking over his shoulder. (Which I am)
I'm so worried that our son will get hurt or get sick because my husband is very relaxed with him. He's only 5 months old! He's not a toddler!!
It causes so much strain on our marriage..how do I back off and cut him some slack?!? I can't seem to bite my tongue but I know he deserves the chance to be a father without me acting like his mother!! 😢
