Spicing up sex?

Looking for ways to add some spice to my sex life. Hubby and I are trying for a baby and since we work 12 hour shifts, we end up waking up in the morning for a pre-work quickie and it's getting pretty boring. We've been kinda plain jane, vanilla variety with our sex since the beginning so I want to think outside of the box and really add some pizazz lol. Any advice?
