boyfriend advice

So my boyfriend and I have been dating for 4 months now. Lately we haven't been talking to each other, not because we don't want to but we are both busy. I have school and a demanding job I'll start as a permanent position once I graduate and he is in school it's his senior year and is playing football. He says I'm putting my job before my school and him as well and that I should reevaluate what my priorities are. We go to separate schools we are only an hr away from each other. But we've been in a long distance relationship since the start. I just don't know why now it's an issue that I work a lot and he's busy himself. If he's not in class he's in practice and when he does have down time that he's not busy or has homework he lets me know last minute, I can't just drop what I'm scheduled to work from one day to the next. We currently are in that we'll talk about this later status but I've been told I work to much should I step back from my job and focus more on "us" for a bit or what can we do I need advice and ideas if any??? I don't want to break up he's an amazing man he hasn't asked me to quit my job or to make him a priority he's just upset at the fact for what we've talked that I'm not trying...
