i feel like im ready to have sex again, little to no bleeding happening for the past few days.
im 3 weeks postpartum and i cant imagine waiting another 3 weeks! but i also dont want anything bad to happen either.

everyone heals different! if you're bleeding has stopped and you're not sore go for it. clearly someone with no tearing at broth compared to someone with an epitiosomy will be having sex again at very different times. 6 weeks is just standard but some people heal quicker

I'm only 12 days postpartum and I can't wait until I can have sex again. I didnt expect the urge to come back so soon since I've never had much of a sex drive to begin with. It's going to be a looong 6 weeks 😣

It's very risky. Since your cervix is still soft and slightly open you're risking a nasty infection and not to mention you're extremely fertile for a few months. Just wait. You'll be happy you did.

I'm 4 weeks PP and have been feeling the same way! I am also afraid of any health risks. I had 12 stitches after birth... I'm sure they've dissolved now and I haven't had any pain, but you never know!

You could of stopped bleeding but your insides are still readjusting and healing.  If u have sex u can lose a lotttttttt of blood.  Like on the verge of getting a blood transfusion. If u decide to be gentle.

No. I've heard lots of stories of women hemorrhaging because they weren't fully healed when the felt like they were. I wouldn't risk it.

They say 6 weeks so your insides have time to heal and get back to normal. Everything has been out of place for the past nine months and needs time to shift back to where it belongs.
