flu shots during pregnancy

Jessica • First time mommy, can't wait to meet my little prince due 12/9!!❤️
Can you get a flu shot while pregnant?? Just wondering.....this is my first pregnancy and I do plan to ask my midwife when I see her Friday but I figured I'd throw it out there on here to see what you ladies have to say!!
UPDATE: Well, like a lot of you ladies said, my doctors/midwives told me that not only is it completely 100% ok but it is super highly recommended because you can then pass the immunity to your baby, especially after you've reached the 6 month mark in your pregnancy....soooo seeing as I work at Stop and Shop and the pharmacy there offers free flu shots to all employees, and my insurance covers them anyways....I had mine done yesterday as soon as I got to work!! Now I can feel a bit better knowing that he will be safer after being born especially since I'm due 12/09, so he's going to be entering this world in the heart of flu season!!!
