Help with crying and hyperventilating! Advice appreciated
FTM here. I've just experienced what has to be one of the most scariest things with my baby. Her father was holding her and out of nowhere she started crying hysterically. She was crying so hard she was hyperventilating while choking on her saliva. I tried comforting her to calm her and so did he but nothing was working. She still had about an hour to go before her next feeding. But in a panic I made a bottle quickly and let her feel it in her mouth. She slowly calmed down after somewhat teasing her with the bottle and as soon as she was calm enough we fed her. I got very nervous, started shaking, I was so worried she wasn't going to catch her breathe. We don't know where it came from or what possibly could of happened. Has anyone experienced something similar? Any advice on what I should do? I flipped her face down and patted her back when she was choking. I tried everything I could. Could it be serious when a baby cries and hyperventilates? Choking doesn't help either. I'm sorry, my nerves are really bad at the moment. I try to keep it together but always the worst things come to mind.
