Maternity leave advice needed (ftm)

Due March 2. Work for a very small company and we'll need a temp to cover my client book (I do a LOT). They'll need to be caught up on current cases and how I manage things. Boss, bless her, thinks aiming to find someone by mid-feb is a good goal. That sounds insane to me! Bringing someone in right at the window where I could reasonably go into labor? AND it assumes I'm able to work right up until the birth (that's my goal but who knows). I'm thinking finding someone no later than mid January is safer (even if they aren't hired until later). Thoughts and advice very much appreciated!!
