Preclampsia? worried

I'm on my feet all day at work, And my due date is the 29th of this month. I test negative every doctors appointment for protein in my urine.. but I'm still concerned?! Anyone else dealing with this?

I had high blood pressure at my 36w appointment. They had me do urine and blood and both came back fine. Went back a few days later for BP check again and was high again. They did 24hr urine test to check protein and again came back fine. I was also extremely swollen in my feet. True symptoms of preeclampsia are swelling (also in the face), bad rib pain, horrible headaches and protein in urine. Anyway, I went back again at 38w 2d to test BP again and it was 154/90 something and was immediately sent to L&D and was diagnosed with gestational hypertension. I ended up being induced and had my son on 9/30. Your doc would tell you if they were concerned if your BP elevates. Keep an eye on it!

Swelling is normal and you only need to be concerned about Preeclampsia if you BP is high.  I've been dealing with this kind of swelling since June, and I still have 3 weeks to go. Boosting electrolytes by adding cucumber and sea salt to my water has really helped. Also just staying off your feet whenever you can.
