Induction experience?

When i had ny daughter i was brought in for an induction at 10 days overdue..we had 4 rounds of prostin pessarys and nonr were effective. I never dilated and never felt a twinge. She was then born via c section at 13 days overdue.

This time i am 4 days overdue and my water broke 30 hours ago. I have had a single prostin pessary over 7 hours ago and have experienced pain. However my cervix is short but stil closed and firm. Baby is happy tho theres been some meconium in waters. Theyre now talking about putting me on synotocin drip to get things going...

How effectivr was this for any of you other mummys? I feel so dishearyened that itll just not work. Honestly terrified by everything as well
