How do I tell my parents about this tattoo once the find out. It's not that I got a tattoo it's the meaning of it.

I can only answer this  by putting myself in your parents shoes, if I seen this on my daughter my heart would break in 2, not because of the tattoo but because as a parent I cant imagine my daughter going through something alone without myself or her father knowing about it, your parents made you, loved you and raised you, I think you should at least make them aware that something happened to you ( not necessarily the details) don't let the tattoo be the first they know of it  xx

All these people saying you should have told your parents sooner are being insensitive. You shouldn't tell anyone if you don't want to. Parents or not. Yeah, they might feel hurt but you know what? They shouldn't. They should understand. I think it would be selfish of them to only thing of themselves and how they feel when you're the one who went through such a terrible thing.
