I'm kinda nervous....

Okay, so my bf and I decided we wanted to try for a baby.... I missed my period, and according to eve, I'm 7 days late. I've taken tests both before and after my period should have started and they are coming out negative. But, I've also gotta say that my periods have always been an irregular sorta thing and didn't start to kick back into a normal cycle roughly until 9 months ago when I moved. Could I be getting a false negative because it's to early? Everyone keeps telling me not to think about it and it will happen, but I can't help but wonder with the fact my period was normal and now is late. Or am I just paranoid and thinking too much into this? I really want it to be true, but I'm still nervous anyway....
