need advice please ladies

My husband was diagnosed with Azoospermia about a month ago and we are waiting to see a specialist. He's moods changed dramatically the last couple of weeks. After asking him what was wrong and begging him to open up to me. He finally told me he's taken the diagnoses really hard. He feels like he is not a man and that he can't give me what we both want. Hearing him broke my heart as he confessed he's been wanting me to leave because "he is not a man and that I deserve better, he wants me to be a mum". As I explained I want a family with him and that I'm with him because I'm in love with him and he feels like home to me. I guess what I'm asking is if anyone has any advice or suggestions on how to boost him up. This rollercoaster is devasting and No one close to us really understands just how much of an impact this is having on us both mentally.
