Bye IUD??? Maybe?

So I currently have the mirena and have had it for over 2 and a half years. Since placement I have had ovarian cysts occur. So I have scheduled to go to my gyn on Nov 4th to have it removed and switch to something else (not depo) but I'm scared because I just feel so used to the IUD I just can't stand the cyst side effect anymore need relief but what about other BC side effects??? Someone please calm my nerves and any suggestions and experiences on their BC??
