period help !!

Hi ! I'm Amber I'm 17 and I started the patch birth control and I'm on the 4 week which is no patch week where I'm supposed to get my period I have a doctors appointment on Friday to get a IUD put in and I have to be on my period I took my patch off on Monday at 5pm as my doctor told me too and so far I'm only what looks like spotting but it looks like old blood ( brown and little reddish ) what should I do please help me !!!
