When did you all start buying your first baby bits?

Question

Currently 14+3 weeks - due April 26th & am desperate to start buying our little baby some bits. Is it a bit early? When did you all start buying your first bits?
Also what did you buy first? And when did you buy things like a crib, Moses basket, baby changing units & wardrobes like the bigger stuff? My husband & I would like to start buying a few bits now. Also not planning on finding the sex out, and don't want to buy just neutral things any ideas on colours that would suit either sex?

I'm due the 26th too!! The only thing we have bought is a couple of clothing items since we just found out the gender last thursday. But my hubby and I talked and I think we're going to start buying all of our big stuff as the money comes up and wait on all the small stuff until after the shower since we will probably get a lot of that there!

I'm due 4/29 with my second baby boy (baby 1 is one year old) so our big thing will just be stocking up on diapers and then we going to buy a better cosleeper bassinet and a sound machine for boy 1 since his current on is apart of the swing and that will move around again. Last time I didn't buy anything at all till 24 weeks and then really started to get most things at 28 weeks even though we found out gender at 14weeks.

I'm due 26th too 😊 my parents bought me a Moses basket the other day 🙊 they're keeping the bits they're buying me at their house though until I need it! I say it's best to start early, you don't want to panic later on because you've forgotten stuff. At least then when you/if you have a baby shower you can get people to buy any last bits you might need. The only thing I've bought is a changing bag and that was only because it was in the sale 😊

I was lucky to have family that have been dying for us to have a baby, we will be married for 5 years april 6 2017! So as soon as we told everyone my family started buying lol. So far we have the crib and its put together, the dresser which im painting, and already lots of clothes for both genders but we found out last week its a GIRL! We had a neutral blue/aqua color picked out for the walls in the nursery and now i can put all the girly colors with it when we finish decorating. Im dying to add some glitter to something haha!. I also have a pack n play that has the diaper and clothes organizer attached, the newborn sleeper and changer is also included and i have a antique cradle for our room. We have a few bedding sets my aunt got when they went on sale a few months ago and i have a few diapers and wipes and baby bath things ive stocked up on since the copay at the ob is waved for pregnancy i use it to buy a few things to put up for after the baby is here. So i say whenever you feel like it. I wanted to have everything ready by 30 weeks incase the baby came early i wouldnt have to rush around. Ill still get alot from the baby showers but i have things incase an emergency were to occur!

I am 14 weeks + 6 and I have already bought some little peices of clothing but the big things I will defiantly wait until after Christmas sometime as only in a small flat at the moment and it will all take up to much space whilst we still have a while to go!

I am also due April 26th!! We have got toys and teething items already, diapers and wipes (to start our stockpile)  and some clothes, I think you can start getting stuff as soon as you feel is good!!! We are going to find our the gender but I love ducks, so we have some outfits that are yellow and have ducks on them just cuz I love them, also green turtles as well, don't get all the clothes in gender neutral things, you can get some that are generally specific after you have it, and really it's just based on your personal opinnion, I will still put a baby on dark blue chevron sheets even if it's a girl because of what the nursery will look like for boy or girl.

I'll be 17 weeks Monday and I still haven't bought anything. But I only found out the gender a few days ago.. my mom bought us a yellow bath towel with duckies a few weeks ago though and in made my heart melt!

As soon as we found out I was pregnant I started buying a little bit of gender nuteral clothes.. found out at 14wks we are Having a baby boy so now the real shopping begins:)

We did the blood test and found out the gender at 11 weeks. That's when we started shopping!
