is it ok/normal to take average 40-ish min to finish breastfeeding?

Just wondering if it's ok that my baby takes about 15-25 min to finish breastfeeding on each side? I've read that I should leave her on until she's done and I find that it takes her a while. I know sometimes she's using it as a pacifier, but most of the time she is actively sucking and swallowing. I don't always mind waiting that long, but sometimes it's really inconvenient and I'd love for her to finish sooner. Thoughts or suggestions?

As she gets older she will get more efficient and take less time on the breast to get what she needs. Learning curve I imagine.
Another possibility is that she doesn't have a strong latch, so the milk is coming out slower than it would if she was latched properly.

WOW! I have to fight to keep my.little girl awake for a full 10-12 minutes while she eats! Half the time my breast is far from empty when she decides she's done.

Mine is the same... he suck/swallows for a min then sucking for a min then back at it. Always think he is done then he starts gulping again. If I take him off to soon he gets really fussy for 30 min so I figure xtra 10-20 min of him feeding is better than crying. I don't let him sleep tho... I keep waking him up
