Disability question for CA
I read that you have to wait a full 7days without work before applying for disability. Does that mean you have to wait from the date your dr took you off work or the date that you actually took off? I took 2weeks off unpaid before my dr wrote my note to take me off because I couldn't handle it and the ob refused to take me off before 36weeks. Just wondering if I have to wait another week now because my note starts 11/14/16 or since I've been off I'm good to apply? Btw I'm in California
