possessive over baby - help!
My daughter is a little over a week old. She's my second baby but my husband's first.
I'm so grateful that he's around and helpful, but I feel possessive over baby. He's constantly coming to take her from me when I'm holding her or follows me around the house when she's in my arms. I feel a disconnect from her since she's no longer inside me.
I know he's her parent also, so it's not fair for me to want non stop time with her, but I can't help but feel this way. I broke down in tears last night because she's not in my arms as much as I'd like her to be. I want her to know I'm her mom and I feel she won't know if she's not with me the majority of the time.
Is it just me that feels this way? Have I gone off the deep end?! Help 😔
