How many times does your 10 week old eat?

I am a FTM and my daughter is 10 weeks old. (EBF) Her pediatrician says she should be eating about 8 times a day... is that accurate? She doesn't always eat that many times a day but still has plenty of wet/poopy diapers and is gaining weight just fine. (Seems like that is all that should matter)

Any advice/feedback is much appreciated 😌

My 10wk old feeds 2hrly during the day. As long as your baby is having wet nappies the I don't think it matters.

My daughter is 14 weeks and EBF, but for at least a month she has only had 6 feedings/day (except last night she had a 7th, which was abnormal for her but I think she is going through a growth spurt!) anyway, she hasn't had 8 feedings/day since she was probably 6 weeks old. She is growing and gaining great and lots of wet and poopy diapers each day too. Each baby is different.
