help please

Let me just start off by saying me and my mother have a great relationship. However I want to know if I can go to a OB/GYN without a parent. I am 17 and just moved to Missouri and I have had an infection for a couple weeks now....I already told my mother but she keeps saying she's too busy (she has been struggling with cancer herself). Normally I would just wait it out but it is becoming unbearable.
