Baby feels warm🤔🤔???

So my breastfed two week old has been a very gassy and at first I was very confused as to why. Well my dr has been telling me to drink Lots of milk and so I have been well.. my mother tells me that could be the problem. And so I started giving him formula and it has fixed his fussing a little. Now he has been having trouble pooping and it hurts him it seems that all he wakes for is to grunt a cry while he pushes and I feel so hopeless 😭. My mother told me to try a q tip to try and help him and so I did and it worked a little bit. His stomach was still rumbling so I bought ( gripe water) and seemed to help but not much. I'm feels so frustrated I want to help my baby boy but I don't know what to do for his gas or constipation. Anyone else going through this? or any a dive?
