Anyone who didn't breastfeed with their first child or so and decided to breastfeed the next one?

My mother never breastfed, my sister never breastfed, my (ex) husbands mom never breastfed. My first two, i didn't breastfeed. I felt like I had no one to go to if I were to breastfeed and I was worried about getting my children properly fed, of course. My fiancé now, his mother breastfed and we're really close and we added to our hospital this year (very small town) and they have specialists here now! So I decided to try with this one. Anyone else didn't breastfeed the first one or two and decided to breastfeed the next? I was thinking about how my first one, I never thought I'd stop lactating. A month and a half without breastfeeding and it finally stopped. With my second, it only took a week. I've read about people not being able to produce milk, will this effect my body being able to produce milk since I didn't breastfeed before? Anyone else do this and have problems?
