anyone else can't feed laying down?

How do you do it at night? How do you keep yourself from falling asleep? I tried to bf laying down multiple times but it just doesn't work for me so I have to feed sitting up and I end up falling asleep almost every time which results in me sitting up for the whole night.

I cosleep and I'll fall asleep then wake up to him asleep and my boob out 😂 I tried having him in a bassinet but I couldn't function and he got no sleep either.

I get up and sit so I don't fall asleep...usually take my phone with me

Nursing in bed laying down makes me fall asleep too! In the middle of the night I just play around on my phone while she eats, then just go back to bed. I still leak a lot so I have to be coherent enough to put nursing pads back on, otherwise I'd wake up in a puddle. 😉

I can't feed lying down with my little girl for some reason her nose always seems to be pushed up against me and she literally can't breath so she ends up screaming! I have tried tilting her every which way but still we can't get comfortable at all! My other daughter loved feeding laying next to me and latched on with no problems! She would feed and fall straight to sleep and so would I (I bed shared with all my children) and tips on how to get this little one to latch properly while lay in bed would be great x

If I'm super tired I'll try side-lying. Her head is propped on my arm while she's latched. I'll end up half asleep. I've only really fallen asleep once for a bit and woke up and she had fallen asleep too so I brought her up to my shoulder and we slept for a few minutes.

I can't do the side lie or recline. I hope when she gets head control maybe it will work? All I can manage in bed is cradle hold sitting criss cross and it kills my back and neck. I almost always take her out to a chair to nurse.
