More Mirena IUD questions
OKAY but really how soon is the IUD effective as birth control!? My doctor said "immediately" -- now online I see folks saying after a week!!!?!?!? I just had unprotected sex with my partner (for the first time ever) yesterday which was my first day of ovulation and I got the implant 6 days prior.
Note: Really not in the trusting kind of mood with my doctor right now btw. I trust all of y'all way more than I trust that quack who told me this mirena would be "painless". Sorry for my skepticism in modern medicine but wtf.
