On our due date I went to my last dr appt and I was 3cm. My OB did a sweep and said this usually will have people go into labor in 24 hours. Well on Wednesday at 4am - I awaken to diarrhea and my mucus plug was passing too. Once I got back into our bedroom - contractions began. They were 5 mins apart. So I called the dr but I woke up my husband to tell him we're going in anyway. Dr called back and said come on in. Made it to the hospital at 6:30 am. My cervix was checked and I was 5 cm- they told me you're being admitted today. Received my epidural at 8:30 am. Fully dilated around 1:30 ish or so. Began pushing which lasted on 40 mins and out bundle of joy arrived weighing 9 lbs. that was a total shock to all of us- even my doctor!!! God is faithful!!!
