Christmas in mind...
With christmas (or other gift giving beliefs/celebrations) in mind and the generation of toys becoming less and less, who has purchased tablets or other electronics for their kids as presents? Iv always been very against electronics for children but my son (3 years) keeps asking anyways (which hes not getting ever), he sees my 4 year old niece who has a tv, dvd player, cable box and xbox in her room, also has a playstation 3, tablet and play iphone. Her behaviour enough makes my decision soo much easier but my family thinjs im being harsh and not allowing him to learn, his great grandma told me she was going to buy him a tablet for christmas and i told her i would smash it if she did, so hes getting a pair of hockey skates and helmet instead. My mother in law purchased a pen? That connects to my cell so that he could play games on my phone and i asked her to return it and buy him something more productive. What do you think? Am i being harsh or reasonable
