Is it scary to be a first time mom?

I've had 2 miscarriages in the past 3 years and in that time I have managed to scare myself and convince myself I won't be a good mother and that that's probably why it hasn't happened. I'm so scared I won't have that mothers intuition everyone talks about or I won't know what to do or I won't be able to handle it. Did anyone feel this way??
