Parking spots for parents

Given that it would be used properly, do you think parking lots should have spots that are slightly larger and labeled "child only parking" for vehicles transporting children? I can't tell you how many times I have had to crawl through the car to get a baby into the car because someone was parked in their spot, but too close to the car to get the car seat in! Do you think larger spots should be available to people who need the extra room for children? Let me know your opinions!
