New Year's Eve-Please, I really need advice

So my boyfriends mother asked unless I was 95% better from being sick(I've been sick for 2 months and the doctor says I just can't kick it because I can't stay home to rest) to stay home on New Year's eve. So I will be alone or he will come here. I have a strong feeling he doesn't wanna come here and it's breaking my heart. I feel fine until I go to work/school/run errands, so I feel 100% better now, but I'm not sure. Any advice?
